What we review

We review tools that families or children use directly. Tools built only for creators or businesses are outside this submission scope.

Read our public review standard before writing to us.

What to include in your email

• Your tool name, website and what families use it for.
• Who holds the account? What is the minimum age in your terms, and how do you obtain parental consent?
• How long do you keep children’s data (text, images and voice)? Is it used for model training, and how can a parent see or delete it?
• What does it cost, including in-app purchases?
• Is there public sharing or a community?
• Can you provide a review account?

Two ways to be reviewed

A listing is free either way. Standard review is free: we review the queue in monthly batches and do not promise a date.

Fast-track: $99. You receive a decision and a written report within 7 business days of payment and complete answers. The fee pays for our time and the deadline. It does not buy the outcome: the standard is the same and a listing is not guaranteed. The fee is not refunded if the answer is no. If we miss the deadline, we refund it in full. If the answer is “not yet”, one re-check within 60 days is free.

Before you pay, ask for a free pre-check of your public terms and privacy policy. If we find something that rules the tool out, we will tell you before taking payment. If we decide not to start after payment, we refund in full. You may check facts before publication; opinions and labels remain ours.

Fast-track is for directory candidates. Requests for a place in a particular guide or list wait for its next free editorial update.

After a tool passes

An optional 12-month licence costs $200. It includes:

• The “Parent-reviewed by KidsAiTools” badge with the review date, linking to the review.
• The right to quote the review, unedited, on your site, app store page and sales material.
• Updates to price, age and platform facts within 3 business days of your telling us.
• A re-check before the 12 months end.

The licence changes neither the review nor its labels or placement. If you do not buy it, the listing stays exactly as it is.

What we do not sell

We do not sell listings, rankings, ratings, labels or wording. If a maker pays us for anything, the tool review says so at the start. Links to that maker on tool detail pages, the tool directory, comparisons and article content carry rel="sponsored".

No ads. Ever. Paid review buys our work and a deadline, not advertising space. The optional licence buys permission to use our badge and quotes in the maker’s own marketing.

After confirmation, we send an invoice.
