📖 Creamos un cuento ilustrado

Un libro de cuatro páginas con dibujos del niño y una historia elegida juntos.

Unos 90 minutos · De 5–12 años

Las instrucciones están en inglés y chino. Aquí se muestran en inglés.

Ages 5–12 · About 90 minutes · A four-page folded paper book: your child's drawings, a story you chose together and one short sentence on each page.

Picture your child turning the last page and saying, “I made this.” You will keep a small book with one main character, a wish, a difficulty and an ending your child can explain. The drawings stay theirs. A parent helps with story suggestions and writing; AI does not need to generate the illustrations. The finish line is a whole-book reading with the family, not a polished digital publication.

Prepare your little book corner

Bring one sheet of paper, crayons and a pencil. An adult handles cutting or staples if used. No photos, voice recordings, scans or screenshots of the child's work go to an AI service; only a separately typed fictional description is needed if the adult chooses to use AI.

Optional ChatGPT is operated by the parent with their own account. Its terms require 13 or the higher local minimum age, with guardian permission for under-18s: OpenAI terms of use. Only an eligible adult uses it here; the activity age does not let a child take over the account. The full project also provides two story options for families without tool access.

Your three tasks

  1. 🖍 Draw a character and choose what it wants
  2. 💬 Choose a story path and write four short sentences
  3. 📖 Draw four pages, assemble the book and read it together

Parent, read aloud: “What would make this little book feel like your story?”

What membership adds to this project

You get the step-by-step read-aloud script, child actions, a fictional story prompt, two ready-made alternatives and fixes for story gaps. This page has a printable task checklist and a certificate after completion. Start the project, check all three tasks and select “We finished” to make the certificate available in your browser's print dialog. The closing questions help you talk about which words AI suggested and which choices belonged to your family. Keep the paper book at home; no upload or digital version is required. The complete instructions begin below the membership gate.
