Buddy.ai’s store listing targets ages 3–8 (other official pages give slightly different ranges). This is the product’s target audience, not an account age rule; only a parent can create the account and decide on consent. The maker says it is kidSAFE+ COPPA certified; that is not our certification. Before parental consent, audio is deleted right after processing. With consent, recordings may be used to improve speech recognition and kept up to 15 years; parents can decline or opt out later in Settings. Streak rewards encourage daily use, so agree on time limits for ChiChat and care routines.
