Buddy.ai is a voice-first AI English tutor: children answer Buddy’s questions and say new words out loud to practice vocabulary, pronunciation, letters and numbers, with English courses based on CEFR levels. It also offers ChiChat free conversation, care routines such as feeding Buddy and getting him ready for bed, and streak rewards. The website lists a seven-day free trial followed by an auto-renewing subscription; check the current price before subscribing.

Buddy.ai’s store listing targets ages 3–8 (other official pages give slightly different ranges). This is the product’s target audience, not an account age rule; only a parent can create the account and decide on consent. The maker says it is kidSAFE+ COPPA certified; that is not our certification. Before parental consent, audio is deleted right after processing. With consent, recordings may be used to improve speech recognition and kept up to 15 years; parents can decline or opt out later in Settings. Streak rewards encourage daily use, so agree on time limits for ChiChat and care routines.
