5 AI Art Challenges to Try With Your Friends ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ†

AI art is fun alone. It's WAY more fun with friends. Here are 5 challenges you can do right now โ€” all you need is a phone or computer and AI Creative Studio (free, no signup).

Challenge 1: Same Prompt Battle โš”๏ธ

How it works:
Everyone types the EXACT same prompt. Compare results. Vote on the best one.

Try this prompt: "A cat wearing a crown, sitting on a throne made of fish"

Even though you all typed the same thing, AI generates different versions every time. The person whose version looks the coolest wins.

Scoring: Everyone votes (you can't vote for your own). Most votes wins.

Challenge 2: Telephone Prompt ๐Ÿ“ž

How it works:

  1. Player 1 types a prompt and makes an image, but doesn't show the prompt
  2. Player 2 looks at the image and tries to write a prompt that recreates it
  3. Player 3 looks at Player 2's image and writes THEIR version
  4. Keep going until everyone has gone
  5. Compare the first image and the last image โ€” how much did it change?

This is like the telephone game but with AI art. The results are always absurd.

Challenge 3: Speed Round โฑ๏ธ

How it works:
Set a 60-second timer. Everyone has to:

  1. Think of a prompt
  2. Type it
  3. Generate the image
  4. JUDGE whether it's good enough to submit

If you don't like your first result, you have to type a NEW prompt and try again โ€” but the clock is ticking. When time's up, whatever you have is your submission.

Scoring: Vote on the best image. Tiebreaker: whoever generated fewer images wins (means they got it right faster).

Challenge 4: Weirdest Result Wins ๐Ÿคช

How it works:
The goal is NOT to make the best art โ€” it's to make the WEIRDEST art. Write the most bizarre, impossible, nonsensical prompt you can think of and see what AI does with it.

Example prompts to beat:

  • "The number purple tastes like Wednesday"
  • "A sandwich that's also a time machine but only works on Tuesdays"
  • "The sound of a cloud thinking about stairs"

Scoring: Everyone votes on which result is the weirdest. The prompt counts too โ€” creativity in the prompt is part of the score.

Challenge 5: Art Director ๐ŸŽฌ

How it works:
One person is the "Art Director." They describe a scene in words but DON'T use AI. Everyone else tries to make AI create that exact scene.

Example: Art Director says "I want a cozy library at night with warm light from a fireplace, a cat sleeping on an armchair, and rain outside the window."

Everyone types their own version of that prompt. The Art Director judges whose image is closest to what they imagined.

Why it's the best challenge: It teaches you how hard it is to describe something precisely โ€” which is literally the #1 AI skill.

Bonus: Blocky's Building Battle ๐Ÿงฑ

If you want a building version of these challenges: open Blocky's 3D Block Adventure in Free Build mode. Same challenges work โ€” Same Prompt Battle ("everyone build a castle"), Speed Round (3 minutes to build), Weirdest Build Wins.

The AI Magic Build feature makes it even better: type the same prompt, compare what AI builds for each person, then modify yours to be the best.

What You Need

  • 2+ people (works with 2, best with 3-5)
  • Each person needs a phone, tablet, or computer
  • AI Creative Studio โ€” free, no signup
  • Optional: a timer app for Speed Round

That's it. No downloads. No accounts. 5 challenges, 30 minutes of fun. Go.
