Character.AI is one of the most popular AI social products on the a16z list. Users can chat with a wide range of AI characters—including historical figures, fictional characters, and learning tutors—and also create their own AI characters. It's highly suitable for language learning (conversing with AI characters in foreign languages), creative writing (co-creating stories with AI characters), history learning (talking to historical figures), and much more.
